Chess Portraits/Waterscapes

​These images blend photographs of water and abstract wet-on-wet watercolour paintings with digital drawings of Chess Pieces. Chess is a game that we often play in a very serious manner, whereas water is an absolute requirement for life that we often treat in a playful (and sometimes trivial) fashion. So I thought they would make an interesting pairing. ​
